Lorna and Joe are due to be Married at the end of the month, so we went over to their wedding venue Colville Park in Motherwell to get some test shots done around the grounds. http://www.colvilleparkcountryclub.co.uk/site/The couple have taken time to plan their wedding together and are now really looking forward to their big day.
Lucy and Neil are due to be married in May 2012 at the beautiful Pollok House we went along to do last week to do their pre wedding shoot, and plan out all the pictures locations we want to use on the wedding day. It is going to be a hard task for them to pick just one image to go into their signing frame. Here are a few shots we loved best. http://www.nts.org.uk/Hire-a-venue/Pollok-House/
Jennifer was a stunning in her beautiful gown, it was so complimentary to her figure and Ross looked pretty handsome too. They planned their wedding meticulosly and everything was handmade by Jennifer. They even had funky little plant pots as their table plan. They were married on the 11th March at the Western House Hotel http://www.westernhousehotel.co.uk/weddings It's a beautiful venue and really handy to have everything all in the one place, this gave us more time to shoot the images we wanted. Here is our favourite shots.
Angela and Michael had a really fun filled wedding. They were married on the 18th of February and held their reception at the Central Hotel in Glasgow http://www.thegrandcentralhotel.co.uk/weddings.aspx They chose to have their wedding images taken around their favourite spots in Glasgow. Here are a few of our favourites.
Kirsty and David were married on the 1st of February 2012 at the Airdrie Clarkston Parish Church and had their reception at the Westerwood Hotel in Cumbernauld. It was a dry, cold day with a hint of winter sun in the sky. The couple had great ideas for their images and we created some fun shots throughout their day. Having said that you can't knock the classic shots we always try to create. Here is a couple of beautiful shots of the couple on the church grounds. We have used different filters on each to create images that look like a work of art.
Angela and Michael are soon going to be Mr & Mrs Shields on the 18th of February 2012. They are holding their reception at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow and have chosen an urban theme for their images, a great contrast to their Church ceremony. Here are a few of our favourites from their pre wedding shoot around the streets of Glasgow.
Jennifer and Ross are due to be married on the 11th of March 2012 at the Western House Hotel in Ayr. We went over to the hotel to plan out our picture list and have a look around, luckily enough the beautiful wedding room was set up and we had a sneaky peek inside. Approaching the hotel there is a dreamy drive up to the building, surrounded by trees and the interior is warm and cosy. A perfect setting for their perfect day. Here are a few of our favourite shots from he day.
Lynsey and David are due to be married on the 31st of March 2012. They have chosen Kelvingrove Park and Art Gallery in Glasgow as their wedding day picture location because this is where David proposed. Who says romance is dead, David actually blind folded Lynsey and snuck her away to ask her. Here is our favourite shots from the day.
Check out these little cherubs from the largest high school in Glasgow. Holyrood High asked Rich Pictures along to photograph the S6 year for their year book. This was our favourite.
We just shot a band called Daytura who play music for weddings and corporate events. http://www.daytura.com/ They are currently revamping their website and need images to represent their group. Our venue was Hummingbird, right across the road from the Rich Pictures studio on Bath Street in Glasgow. It was a great location with many interesting backdrops. Here are a few of our favourites.
Kirsty and David are getting married on the 2nd February 2012. We decided to go and do their pre wedding practice pictures before the heavy winter arrives. We all met up at their venue, the Westerwood Hotel in Cumbernauld. http://www.qhotels.co.uk/hotels/the-westerwood-near-glasgow/weddings-and-occasions.aspx It was a crisp, dry day, and we had some lovely results, so we are hoping for the same in February. Fingers crossed! Here is our favourite shot of the day.
Sharon and David were married on the 28th of October at Park Circus and then had a small family get together at the rather lovley Blythswood Square Hotel. http://www.townhousecompany.com/blythswoodsquare/weddings/index.aspx In between the two locations we also popped over to Kelvingrove park to shoot some family pictures. Here are a couple of our favourites.
Introducing Diane... she came into the studio to model a couple of beautiful Ian Stuart dresses. http://www.ianstuart-bride.com/ The first was pale blue and sort of baroque looking, the second was black and ivory and looks like it was designed to be worn by a brazillian beauty. The dresses were loaned to us by our neighbour downstairs Eleganza Sposa http://www.eleganza.co.uk/. Rich pictures teamed up with Ramilia from the Hair and Make - Up lounge again in our building http://www.ramiliahairandmake-up.co.uk/ and we created some amazing shots of this beautiful girl. We worked around our building at 183 Bath Street and in nearby doorways. This was Diane's first shoot of this kind and even she was pleasantly surprized with the results. Here are our favourite shots.
Like father like son. How gorgeous is this wee cutie. Christian was such a happy little boy and his pictures represented him so well. His dad Paul brought him in to have some shots taken for the first time. Here are our favourites.
Gillian and Gordon were married on the 22nd of October 2011 at Crieff Hydro http://www.crieffhydro.com/weddings.aspx. The couple held their full day at the venue and we were so lucky to have a crisp dry day. They had some beautiful shots taken on the grounds, everytime we go back to Crieff it seems to have improved. Here are our favourites.
Tracy and Chris met Rich Pictures through a family friend and what better way to be connected to your wedding photographer, but through a recommendation. They were married on the 16th of October at the Menzies Hotel in Irvine and we loved their wedding day. It was really intimate affair, with only close family and friends. Here is our favourite shot.
Louise and Mark held their reception at the Arches in Glasgow http://www.thearches.co.uk/corporate-hire. Perhaps a little bit of an edgy venue for most, but they definately modelled it well. The grungy low lit venue was a chance to use creative flash throughout the day and the images we brought back reflect the couple and their requirements. We already labelled them our vintage couple, but here are two of our favourites, the first image we thought was very mysterious and vintage looking and the other the couple are rather sexily posed on top of the bar.
Clare and Matt were married on the 23rd of September at St Bridgets in Toryglen and then held their reception at the Peoples Palace, Glasgow Green. http://www.peoplespalaceweddings.co.uk/ The couple had been looking forward to the day and everything went to plan. We took some amazing shots at the venues, here is our favourite.
Mathew age 4, Ben and Nathan age 8, and big brother Daniel age 11 all came to the studio for a family portrait. In my opinion they are one handsome family. One day they will all grow up to be heart breakers.
